With more rain on the way we ask all motorised cart drivers to please take care whilst driving on the golf course.   Avoid wet areas, adhere to blue lines and stay at least 10 metres away from the greens.

The new  pathway between the 4th & 5th will open on Saturday, please follow all signage in this area.

New rule implementation,  FREE RELIEF from bare patches on the green, please see below for clarification of this rule.

Wet Weather Procedures for Carts

Members are fully aware that the course has received significant rainfall since November and the prediction is that the La Nina weather pattern will be with us until around June. This has forced the course to be closed at times and/or not to allow carts in an endeavour to protect the playing conditions of your course.

As a reminder, if rain is predicted and/or it has been raining during the week, Members who utilise their own carts or hire a club cart should either a) check the website or b) call the golf shop prior to leaving home to ascertain whether carts are 'not allowed'.  With the inclement weather still a real possibility over coming months, it is prudent that Members follow this avenue or there is a possibility that you may arrive at the Club and the 'NO CARTS' sign is displayed. This decision is always made early on any particular day and the website is updated immediately.

It has also come to the Committee's attention that on occasions both Members and Non Members have verbally abused Golf Shop staff and Committee members for the "No Carts' decision.  This has occurred simply because those Members and Non Members have not bothered to check the website and/or called the Golf Shop on the day.

It is stressed that the Management Committee will not tolerate this type of aggressive behaviour towards our staff or committee members. If this occurs in the future those Members and Non Members will be dealt with in terms of the Club's Constitution and By Laws.

Club Secretary

New NTP Box

There will be new NTP Holders out on the golf course. This has been implemented to keep the cards dry during wet weather days and provide the ability to put the holders out on course the night before a competition, which will save Pro Shop staff 20-30 minutes in the mornings.

Each box contains the small NTP marking discs, along with the NTP cards for that particular hole and a tape measure. The tape measure is in the boxes to give an accurate measurement if the player is unsure if their ball is closer than the one already on the NTP card.

When collecting the NTP cards we ask members to leave the boxes out on course and retrieve the card only.
